• APPLICABLE TO VARIOUS ART WORKS: This temperature-sensitive color shifting powder is suitable for a wide range of arts and crafts projects such as nail polish, slime, secret message creation, resin/epoxy work, paintings, jewelry making, heat-sensitive mugs, wax or mood rings, and more.
• SAFE TO USE: This color-shifting powder is non-toxic and safe for direct contact with skin. It does not contain harsh chemicals, but should not be consumed.
• SIMPLE TO UTILIZE: Mix the thermochromic pigment powder with a transparent base. It is recommended to start with a small amount of powder and gradually add more until the desired color is achieved. Note that mixing generates heat, which may temporarily alter the color of the mixture. Patience is required during the process.
• ACTIVATED BY TEMPERATURE: When heat is applied to the thermochromic microcapsule, the substance inside undergoes a structural change, causing its color to disappear. Cooling down restores the original structure and color. This pigment powder changes colors at 88°F from the first to the second color, and returns to the original color during cool down.
• COLORS INCLUDED: This thermochromic pigment powder pack includes five colors: Orange to Yellow, Dark Green to Lime, Purple to Pink, Cyan to Greenyellow, and Violet to Blue.
• RECOMMENDED CONCENTRATIONS: For solvent/water based ink/paint, the recommended concentration is 3~30% w/w (25%); for plastics injection/extrusion, it is 0.2%~1% w/w (0.5%).
• Please be aware that the UV light resistance, heat-resistance, and aging-resistance performance of this thermochromic pigment powder are lower compared to regular paint. Care should be taken when using it.
